Overview
Source Loop's Telecom Cost Elimination (TCE) process identifies unnecessary telecommunications expenses and does one of two things: (1) Initiates actions to reduce the cost elements to optimal levels or (2) eliminates them altogether.
TCE Includes:
- Detailed audit of invoices against contracts, tariffs, and inventories
- Benchmark existing rates and terms against best available for similar spend
- Review communications network for optimization opportunities
- Identify cost avoidance opportunities through improved policy management
- Review existing operations (Invoice Management, Supplier Management, Order/Inventory and Reporting)
TCE Can be Completed in 6 to 8 Weeks. In our process, we:
- Gather 1 to 3 months of invoices, electronic and paper
- Data, Local, Long Distance and Wireless over billing and cost avoidance issues
- Establish an inventory of the most critical services
- Review existing policies, capabilities, and controls
- Score against best practices
- Provide reports detailing realizable savings, including:
- Detailed disputes that can be filed with vendors immediately
- Network optimization and design opportunities
- Benchmark/Assessment of contract rates against recent market data
- Recommend best practices enhancements to existing processes and policies used to manage telecom expenses
