Our Telecom Cost Elimination (TCE) process identifies unnecessary telecommunications expenses and does one of two things: (1) Initiates actions to reduce the cost elements to optimal levels or (2) eliminates them altogether.

Our Telecom Cost Elimination process includes: (1) A detailed audit of invoices against your contracts, tariffs and inventories; (2) A benchmark of your existing rates and terms against best available for a similar spend; (3) A review of your telecom communications network for optimization opportunities; (4) A review of cost avoidance opportunities through improved telecom policy management; and (5) A review of your existing telecom operations relating to invoice management, supplier management, order/inventory and reporting.

Process

Our TCE process can be completed in 6 to 8 weeks. In our process, we gather 1 to 3 months of invoices – we strive to obtain electronic invoicing wherever possible but we will utilize hardcopy invoicing if electronic data / invoicing is unavailable. Our process will uncover billing issues for local, long distance and wireless telecom services. Cost avoidance opportunities will typically present themselves for both usage based and data driven services.

Deliverables

• We will create an inventory of the most critical services in your organization’s telecom network and we’ll benchmark the price points for those services.

• Your telecom organization’s existing policies, capabilities and controls will be reviewed and scored against TEM best practices.

• Our analysis is then converted into reporting that details realizable savings, including: (1) A detailed listing of dispute claims that may be filed with vendors immediately; (2) An outline of telecom network optimization and design opportunities; and (3) A benchmark & assessment of contract rates against recent telecom market data.

• Finally, we will recommend telecom best practice improvements to existing processes and policies used to manage your organization’s expenses.
